Burberry show to live stream in 3D, Avatar comparison ensue

With the highest paid actress in Hollywood as their front woman, Burberry's latest campaign has been gaining a lot of press attention. More recently it was for the fact they photo shopped out her knee (http://omg.yahoo.com/blogs/a-line/emma-watsons-leg-goes-missing/334?nc)

However the bigwigs at Burberry have been plotting another way to get some press and this time they want to one up Alexander McQueen and his GaGa featured catwalk. Burberry is going to stream their catwalk in 3d. While guests will be sitting watching the 'real' fashion show at Chelsea College of Art & Design in London on 23 February at 4 pm, fashion editors and members of the glitterati in selected cities will be putting on 3D glasses to watch the broadcast in special 'customized screening spaces' - designed by Burberry's own chief creative officer  and saviour Christopher Bailey.

Bailey told fashion industry bible WWD, 'we are very excited to announce that we are hosting the first ever truly global fashion show… 3D technology will bring our global audience into the London show space allowing them to see the colours and fabrics, to hear the music and to be a part of that moment when it all finally comes together.'
